It takes 2 months to receive products from China and the company is requesting an L/C at sight. Would a CIF plus extra 30 to 60 days be viable?

What is a letter of Credit
By definition, a Letter of Credit is the written undertaking by a bank, made at the request of the applicant, to honor drafts or other demands for payment to the beneficiary for merchandise shipped or services performed.
