Once we had a guest from overseas so we took him to a Chinese restaurant and grill. When the fortune cookies came out we did not notice him biting right into it. He then started swearing in Arabic that there was a piece of paper in the food! We laughed until we cried

It's always funny to me when I bring hoighty-toighty friends for a ride through the ghetto. Those people scare easy and it's fun to see that.

lol. that's hilarious. Once we had this man over (white). He wanted to learn about our culture, so we decided we should do that by letting him taste some of our food. So anyways we bring out the aseed and marak, and he starts eating it with a spoon. Your supposed to eat it with two finger (index and middle that's how we do it yemeni style), and we're cracking up. haraam

when i moved to the middle east, i had never been to an arab country before and never seen arabs in their traditional garb. I remember being in the airport and turning to my mom, pointing at various women and yelling "look mom! ninjas!!" at the women in their burkas.
