Default finding people who need outsourcing?

Hi. I am a college student from Bangladesh. My family owns t-shirt and sweater factory in Bangladesh. They export to Europe and Canada but they want to get customers in US too. I was asked to find any retailers who want their brand line outsourced. But I have no idea where to look. I will be happy if somebody can give me information on where to start. Thanks.

Default finding people who need outsourcing?

I think the 'decision maker' who matters for deciding whether their company or firm would need outsourcing or local manufacture are too higher ups to use Internet, let alone Yahoo! Answers. So, no matter how hard I tried to search Google and Yahoo Search Engines to find some information, the results were not very encouraging. Therefore, in my personal view, if you are serious to expand business overseas then apart from Y!A and Search Engines, you might want to visit the Buyers at their turfs.I can share my experience with you. I have been exporting one semi-finished item to P.R. China as their raw-materials. The rates were good and the dealings were near perfect. A time came when I needed to visit China and I found that the existing Buyer got impressed by my presentations and may be personal touch and now for the last two years we are having repeat orders with some upward price adjustment mutually agreed, without much hassle. So, I think you may plan a visit to USA, Canada and European countries and find for yourself through their respective Chamber of Commerce of such trade bodies, which can be viewed as literal flying-start!Best of luck.
